Noise Master Buds are not one of those run-of-the-mill earbuds in the market, but rather unique and well-rounded with impressive audio in a small, comfortable design. At Rs 7,999, these are expensive no doubt, but the reason for their elevated status has to do with Bose, a globally recognised brand that predominantly sells audio equipment. Before I dig into the finer nuances of the Noise product, let me explain the Bose connection. The US company has a minority stake in Noise, allowing the latter to leverage Bose’s technical expertise and global reach to enhance its audio product development and market penetration. Noise Master Buds is the first product in the Master Series that has a Bose footprint.

With Sound by Bose technology, the Master Buds have been constructed to provide rich, powerful audio across all frequencies, ensuring crystal-clear sound. At my end, I paired them with a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra phone and they deliver a fine balance of bass, mid-range, and treble. In other words, they provide a high-quality audio experience for movies, calls and music.

I own a pair of Bose’s QuietComfort Earbuds and can vouch for their audio and build quality. Likewise, the Master Buds are thoughtfully designed to keep up with the active lifestyle while ensuring good comfort. Their lightweight, ergonomic design ensures a secure and personalised fit. These earbuds have been built with soft-touch materials and offer a snug, gentle fit that minimises pressure on the ears. Take my word, there is zero discomfort even during extended use.

With three sizes of soft silicone ear tips — small, medium, and large — the Master Buds adapt to all ear shapes. Whether one is at the gym, in the office, or relaxing at home, these earbuds are comfortable for all-day wear. Also, their compact charging case easily slips into pockets or bags.

In daily use, these provide noise cancellation that offers adaptive sound isolation up to 49dB. Smart functionalities like seamless Dual-Device Connectivity ensure hassle-free multitasking, while Google Fast Pairing ensures quick and easy pairing with Android devices. The Spatial Audio Support enhances the listening experience with a more lifelike and dynamic soundstage, ideal for music, movies, or gaming.

Moving further, the Master Buds feature InstaCharge technology, offering up to 6 hours of playtime on a single 10-minute charge. These hearables extend an impressive total of 44 hours playtime with the charging case. Also, these are equipped with Bluetooth v5.3 for good connectivity, faster transmission and improved range. The Low Latency Mode enhances gaming with immersive audio. Some other features include Type-C charging while firmware updates are managed via Noise app.

During testing, we got very good results. There’s richness and fullness to the sound whether you’re streaming music or watching movies. When it comes to call quality, the sound is crystal clear and noise cancelling is equally impressive. Plus, these earbuds have a comfortable and secure fit, along with good battery life. You’ll like them for their full-spectrum sound.

The Noise Master Buds will be available in three colours — Onyx, Titanium, and Silver with sales starting Wednesday onwards.
