Moto G45 5G was officially launched in India today. This new budget phone from Motorola packs an interesting set of specs including a fast 120Hz display and large 5,000mAh battery. It has a headphone jack and stereo speakers, too, in addition to other quality-of-life features like an IP52 rating and micro-SD storage expansion. The Moto G45 5G starts at Rs 10,999.

The Moto G45 5G is priced at Rs 10,999 for 4GB/128GB and Rs 12,999 for 8GB/128GB. Motorola says consumers will get an additional Rs 1,000 off on select credit cards or on exchange of an old device as part of the launch offer bringing the price of the phone down to Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively. Sales begin August 28 with general availability across Flipkart, Motorola online and leading retail stores across India.

The Moto G45 5G has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 720p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can top 580 nits in high brightness mode (HBM) and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. A hole punch cutout at the centre houses the 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Powering the Moto G45 5G is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor and a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. Running the show is near stock Android 14 with Motorola committing an “assured upgrade to Android 15 plus three years of SMRs updates.” For photography, the phone has a dual camera setup on the back with a 50-megapixel main and 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The Moto G45 5G comes in a choice of brilliant blue, brilliant green and viva magenta, featuring a faux vegan leather back. The phone is IP52 certified and packs dual speakers.
