After announcements of going big on AI, Apple seems to have changed its macOS with its latest macOS Sequoia! With new features such iPhone mirroring, more personalized Safari and improved safety along with spatial visions, Apple aims for redefining desktop experience.
With macOS Sequoia comes other amazing features with the introduction of Apple’s Apple Intelligence! But how does it make Sequoia a ‘fruitful tree of Apple’! Here’s how macOS Sequoia is painting the town red, just like its meaning!
Multitask with iPhone Mirroring !
Apple’s macOS Sequoia is assembling all the multitaskers with its iPhone Mirroring. iPhone Mirroring allows you with the ability to sync all your devices seamlessly. Now you control your devices remotely. For example imagine working on your desktop and you get notified about your Duolingo classes that you missed. Now you can access your Duolingo classes from your desktop, without even touching the phone.
Also you get another bonus! Guess what? Your phone remains locked even in the ‘remote access’ phase! Doesn’t that sound like some magical mirror straight out of a fairytale. You can also drag and exchange devices from Mac to iPhone, just with a touch. Customise home screen with interactive keypad and mouse.
Redefining ‘AI’ with Apple Intelligence?
At Apple WWDC 2024, Apple showed what wordplay really looks like! With its powerful Apple Intelligence that looks like an expanded version of ‘AI’, enhance your Mac to a futuristic level. From brand new writing tools to smart proofreading, management apps, macOS Sequoia brings a bunch of smart updates.
In addition to this you get next-gen image editing and recreating capabilities. With ‘image playground’ you can create personalized stickers in animated, illustration and sketch form. Then you have ‘memories’ that create stories picking up the best photos, backgrounds and music, just with your prompt. More fun yet time saving right!
Personalize ‘Safari’ intelligently !
After providing superfast answers to your queries, the new Safari aims to prioritize your questions. No need to scan through the jungles of search queries and information. Safari will bring you to your most important destination. It can even summarize your long notes.
Safari can even direct you to relevant videos and links for your specific search. With the improved ‘reader’ you can watch videos along with reading articles.
Connect with your people with Spatial Vision!
The new presenter preview makes it easier for you to present, letting you see what you’re about to share . This works with apps like FaceTime and Zoom. You can also apply beautiful built-in backgrounds, including a variety of color gradients and system wallpapers, or upload your own photos.
As macOS Sequoia gets a spatial vision upgrade for its photos app. The spatial vision will also be integrated in the video conferencing app. You can get something equal to real time and 4k quality video.
Other macOS Sequoia updates!
macOS Sequoia also brings you enhanced gaming view with Spatial vision and audio. Connecting it with AirPods Pro (2nd generation) makes your gaming experience more immersive. With AirPods Pro’s ability to cancel background noise and focus more on subtitles and player command, macOS Sequoia takes your gaming experience to another level.
Other updates include smart notes, which can change your bad handwriting to the best one. Smart ‘calculator’ redefining calculations with ‘Math notes’. ‘Collection,’ lets you organise photos based on priority. Apple Maps gets a turn-by-turn feature for precise real-time directions and guidance. The new version of ‘messages’ lets you create stickers using prompts. Be it a birthday wish or angry notes, now you can sketch, animate or illustrate stickers. You can also schedule your texts in case you are someone with the habit of pasting notes!
So, that’s all! Apple seems to have really gone ‘Big’ on AI with recreating its range of devices from Mac to iPhones. Not only that, it added an extra layer of AI with Apple Intelligence for each of its apps.
