Microsoft-owned most popular job search and professional social media network, LinkedIn is bringing a new built-AI job coach for its premium subscribers. This will help users find relevant jobs with the help of artificial intelligence.
It comes as a return gift to the users as the platform announced recently that it hit a 1 billion user base and now looks forward to re-investing in AI-driven features. This is not unusual as its parent company has been one of the first major tech giants to invest heavily in artificial intelligence tools and products.

The platform has been exploring AI capabilities for its premium members. Earlier this year, LinkedIn introduced a feature that allows users to leverage generative AI to enhance their profile descriptions and messages to potential employers.
Nevertheless, the most recent AI addition aims to provide users with an even more tailored and individualised experience that may not only enhance how the profile looks but also help users land a relevant job.
“This is made possible by generative AI, but also the datasets that bring all of this together. It’s your profile, your connections, and all of this that essentially can help you move your job search forward,” LinkedIn’s product manager shared in a statement with Engadget.

How does this work?
This new feature on the platform will provide job seekers with AI-generated advice for every job listing. It will assist users in condensing long job descriptions and, using the information from their LinkedIn profiles, offer suggestions on whether a particular job is suitable for them.
For instance, this tool can point out specific work experiences that users might want to highlight in their job application. Additionally, the AI job coach will provide recommendations on enhancing their LinkedIn profiles to make them more appealing to potential employers.
