Jio is experiencing connectivity problems in multiple regions, with numerous users in Delhi-NCR and Noida reporting disruptions in both mobile internet and network services. According to outage monitoring site Downdetector, the majority of Jio subscribers flagged difficulties with mobile data connectivity (54%), while 33% pointed to JioFiber broadband troubles and 13% complained of complete signal loss.
Jio down in major cities:
Numerous subscribers across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and other regions have reported service disruptions. Users are experiencing problems with internet access, call connectivity, and multiple other telecom services.
“All Jio-to-Jio calls and calls from Jio to other non-impacted networks have been working seamlessly. The only problem observed was in calls made by Jio numbers to a specific impacted network customers, due to downtime on that network’s end. This did not affect Jio customers calling within the Jio network or connecting to any other networks. We assure our customers that the Jio network continues to perform optimally, and services remain fully available,” the telecom firm said in a statement.
Downdetector recorded more than 200 complaints of Jio service disruptions:
Outage-tracking platform Downdetector recorded more than 200 complaints of Jio service disruptions around 5 PM on Monday. In comparison, Vodafone-Idea appeared less affected, though the site still logged nearly 50 reports—well above the usual volume.
The disruption was reported just a few hours after Airtel customers encountered a comparable breakdown. The telecom operator acknowledged the service snag on X, noting that many subscribers struggled with calls and mobile data. The problem initially surfaced in Delhi-NCR before extending to Mumbai and Bengaluru.
User posts on X suggest the network glitch is stopping some customers from making or receiving calls. Others report that SMS services are down, blocking the delivery of one-time passwords (OTPs) required to access apps and online platforms.
The telecom provider has started replying to user complaints on X, admitting that it is “facing a network disruption.” Airtel added that efforts are underway to fix the problem, though it has not shared any timeline for when services will be fully restored.
