Apple’s new lineup is here – the iPhone 15 series. It consists of over four iPhones to choose from – iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The best debate these days is which one should one go for – iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Pro? Worry not, we’ll break it down for you. Take note that there’s a huge price difference between the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, for obvious reasons like the latter is not being made in India and the top-dollar spec sheet.

Apple iPhone 15 makes use of aluminium with a glass back, however, the iPhone 15 Pro gets a titanium-made back with textured matte glass. iPhone 15 offers a vibrant array of colour choices, including pink, soft yellow, light green, pale blue, and classic black. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro opts for a more understated palette, featuring black, white, dark blue, and a sophisticated natural titanium with a hint of beige.
iPhone 15 vs iPhone 15 Pro: Display
Both share the same sized screen – a 6.1” Super Retina XDR display with 2,556×1196 pixels resolution. However, iPhone 15 Pro gets refresh rate support up to 120Hz whereas the standard continues to have 60Hz refresh rate support. Dynamic Island is present on both – iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, however, iPhone 15 misses on the always-on display.

The iPhone 15 has two back cameras, while the iPhone 15 Pro has three. Both have a 48-megapixel wide lens and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. The iPhone 15 Pro also includes a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Night mode is available on both, but only the iPhone 15 Pro offers night mode for portrait shots.

iPhone 15 houses an A16 Bionic chip, while the iPhone 15 Pro boasts an A17 Pro chip. Both are speedy with six-core CPUs. Both come in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants. However, the flagship iPhone 15 Pro aims to offer one more 1TB variant.
Another major difference is that although both iPhones use USB-C charging, the iPhone 15 Pro is the only one that supports faster 10Gbps USB 3 speeds. Users must provide their own USB-C 3 cable for the 15 Pro as Apple includes a USB 2 cable with both phones. The standard iPhone 15 supports USB 2 speeds at 480Mbps.

iPhone 15 starts in India at Rs 79,900 for the base storage 128GB variant, however, the iPhone 15 Pro comes at Rs 1,34,900 for the 128GB variant.
