In a rare and unprecedented move, Flipkart is offering a brand new iPhone 14 at a lower price than the older iPhone 13. The deal is part of the Walmart-owned e-commerce platform’s ongoing Flipkart Big Shopping Utsav 2024, which has been extended post its October 13 deadline at the time of writing. And so, you can still make most of several discounts—including some on Apple iPhones—but as is the nature of these things, you better hurry in case you want to make the most out of them during this festive season.
iPhone 14 Flipkart Big Shopping Utsav 2024 deal
Buying a new iPhone has never made more sense. Take the iPhone 14 Flipkart deal for instance. The 128 GB variant of the iPhone 14 is currently listed at Rs 50,999 on Flipkart, down Rs 8,901 from a quoted MRP of Rs 59,900. Over and above that, Flipkart is ready to give you up to Rs 3,750 instant cashback if you make your purchase using select bank cards, more specifically, Axis Bank credit card. The net effective price of the iPhone 14 128 GB then drops to Rs 47,249.
iPhone 13 Flipkart Big Shopping Utsav 2024 deal
This is actually cheaper than the iPhone 13. The iPhone 13 128 GB does have a lower selling price of Rs 49,900 (versus Rs 50,999 for the iPhone 14) which makes sense considering it is older. But this one is eligible for bank cashback of only Rs 1,750 (again, this is with Yes Bank credit card), so the net effective price turns out to be Rs 48,150. This makes the iPhone 14 Rs 901 cheaper than the iPhone 13, taking everything into account.
Moving on, you can get some additional discount on exchange as well. On both the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14, Flipkart is giving a maximum of Rs 48,850 off on exchange depending on the model and its condition. This can make the price of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 even lower making them more attractive to buy.
The iPhone 13 is virtually the same deal as the relatively newer iPhone 14 with the biggest difference coming by way of how Apple designs these things. The iPhone 14 is a bit more easily repairable than the iPhone 13. But hardware-wise, they share more or less the same specs. But if you can get the newer model at a lower price—like in the case of the Flipkart Big Shopping Utsav 2024 sale—it goes without saying where your hard-earned money should be going.
