As we all know, Android devices didn’t have the option to sync devices. According to a report, Google will allow ‘sync devices’ option soon. The new update can allow Android users to sync their devices.

We usually face issues while registering where we get notifications across devices. Sometimes the notifications vary across devices. So, to remove this issue, ‘sync devices’ can help.

Google to allow ‘sync devices’

According to Android Authority, Google plans to bring an option that will help you to sync your devices. The company aims to improve connectivity and remove duplicate notifications. The upcoming feature was found in the latest Android 15 QPR1 Beta 2 update. The update was released last week. The update showed a ‘sync across devices’ feature and was found under the ‘setting’ of the Notification.

In addition to this the update also showcased two other options. These are “notification cooldown”and “sensitive notifications” features. Speculations suggest that these options indicate  the rolling out of the ‘sync across device,’ feature. It is expected that the upcoming release feature can bring a new page in the Google Play Service app. This page will mainly focus on the syncing of notifications across devices. However, official confirmation is yet to come.

Other speculations suggest that the upcoming ‘sync across device’ feature might come only for all Android devices. As there are no official announcements , we might need to keep tracking Google’s official page for more updates.

What’s next

This is not the first time that Google has been working on Android user’s development. A few days back Google announced that it will bring a free version of its Gemini Live for all Android users. Earlier Gemini live was only available to paid users. But now it’s free for all.

So, what is Gemini Live and how does it benefit you? Gemini Live is Google’s AI chatbot that can allow a natural conversation like information exchange. Gemini Live allows you to  have a real-life conversation, without any form of distraction. This is just like the normal chit chat we have with everyone. In addition to this, Gemini Live has about 10 new voice modulations. You can use these voices when you are executing a conversation.

Furthermore, if you want a text transcription of the ‘audio conversation’, you can always get it after ending the conversation. For this you need to go to the ‘history’ section of the Gemini app/platform. Then look for the audio recording and you will get the transcription. Notably, at present Gemini Live is only available in English.
