Google took wraps off its new Pixel 8 series during the Made by Google event on Oct 4 in New York City. Now, Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones are available to buy in India.
The newly released phones run Android 14 out of the box with Google’s Tensor G3 chipset and offer several AI-integrated features.

Google Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro: price and offers
Pixel 8 comes in two storage variants— 128GB and 256GB. Meanwhile, its elder sibling Pixel 8 Pro comes in a sole storage variant— 128GB.
Pixel 8 costs Rs 75,999 for the base variant and Rs 82,999 for the 256GB variant. The higher-and-premium Pixel 8 Pro comes at Rs 1,06,999. The phones are now available to purchase exclusively at Flipkart.
Flipkart has also introduced bank offers for Pixel 8 buyers. The offers are available on ICICI, Kotak Mahindra, and Axis Bank cards for up to Rs 8,000. There’s also an exchange offer going on which offers Rs 3,000 extra discount.

Google Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro: Quick specs
Pixel 8 flaunts a 6.2” OLED display with FHD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro boasts a slightly larger 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen with a higher QHD+ resolution and a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1-120Hz, with up to 2,400 nits. Both models are IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.
In terms of camera, Pixel 8 sports a dual-camera setup: 50MP primary lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. Meanwhile, its elder sibling features a triple-camera setup consisting of 50MP primary lens, 48MP ultra-wide camera and 48MP telephoto lens. On the front, Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro feature 10.5MP and 10MP selfie cameras.
Both run Android 14 on Google Tensor G3 chipset and offer 7 years of major OS upgrades, along with security and feature drops.
