Expected to be called the Pixel 10 series, these phones are rumoured to bring upgrades that challenge the might of the iPhones. A new Tensor chip is expected to raise the ceiling of raw processing power, and a bunch of new camera features could further this phone’s appeal.
Thanks to a bunch of leaks and rumours, we now have a better idea of what to expect from these upcoming Google-branded flagship phones. Google Pixel 10 series: What the leaks say
A few aspects of the Pixel 10 series have surfaced, mostly related to its aesthetics. A source reveals some of the colourways expected to be a part of the Pixel 10 series. The standard Pixel 10 – the equivalent of the upcoming iPhone 17, will come in Obsidian (black), Blue, Iris (Purple) and Limoncello (Yellow).
As for the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, the leaked colourways include Obsidian (Black), Green (Green), Sterling (Grey) and Porcelain (White).
The tipster has also revealed a couple of wallpapers rumoured to be a part of the official Pixel 10 preloaded wallpaper collection. They reveal some colour gradients and patterns, collections that are quite unusual for a Pixel device.
Pixel 10 Pro spotted in its advertisement shoot
Another leak comes courtesy of a photographer from Vancouver, Canada, who spills the beans on the Pixel 10 Pro’s design. Based on the photos shared, it seems that there was an advertisement shoot going on for the Pixel 10 Pro and no attempts were made to mask the product in question. The Pixel 10 Pro (or the XL variant) retains a design almost identical to the Pixel 9 Pro, complete with the oval-shaped camera island and the triple lens housing. The colourway seems to be a muted version of the iPhone colourways.
Pixel 10 series expected launch date
The Pixel 9 series established a new launch window last year and hence, Google could follow the same this year. Hence, the Pixel 10 series could hit the shelves in August 2025, a whole month ahead of the iPhone 17 launch.
