One of the highly anticipated phones of the year- the CMF Phone 1- from Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF, is inching closer to its official launch on July 8. The company has confirmed that the phone will boast a Super AMOLED display which means user can expect promising superior visuals and a vibrant viewing experience.
This exciting revelation comes amidst a series of teasers that have been steadily piquing user interest. One such teaser shows the phone’s flat screen with uniform bezels. The post also hinted at a gradual unveiling of the phone’s design and specifications over the next nine days through videos.
CMF has also revealed that the CMF Phone 1 will feature a replaceable back cover with a user-friendly, screw-based locking mechanism. This design element could appeal to users who prefer customisation or are looking for phone that comes with the ability to swap out a damaged back panel.
While official confirmation is still awaited, earlier rumours suggest the CMF Phone 1 will pack a punch under the hood. The speculated MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC promises capable performance. The phone is said to sport a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with now confirmed Super AMOLED technology.
Camera specifications also seem promising, with rumours suggesting a dual-camera setup on the back featuring a 50MP primary sensor, alongside a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Storage options are also rumoured to include 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with the potential for further expansion via a microSD card slot. To keep things powered, a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging is also on the rumour mill.
