In a rare and candid moment, actor Wamiqa Gabbi recently took to Instagram Stories to share a now-viral clip from the Talk With Manvendra podcast, where Dr. Sumit Malhotra, a leading plastic and reconstructive surgeon from Apollo Medics Super Speciality Hospital, Lucknow, praised her and Hrithik Roshan, calling them examples of near-ideal facial aesthetics.
During his appearance on the podcast, Dr. Malhotra discussed the concept of ideal beauty in facial structure and symmetry, pointing to Gabbi and Roshan as prime examples of naturally harmonious features.
“Among women today, I believe Wamiqa has a face that’s very close to ideal. She has a very beautiful face,” said the surgeon. He went on to add, “If people like her were to visit a plastic surgeon and ask for a procedure, we’d probably just fold our hands in response. It’s truly God’s grace upon them.”
Reacting to the unexpected compliment, Gabbi posted the clip with a humorous and heartfelt caption, “My self-esteem is doing a little bhangra. Adding ‘surgeon-approved face’ to my bio and moving on with life. (Woke up to do some pending work BUT yeh dekhne ke baad vaapis sone jaa rahi hoon… Ok BYEEEEE!)”
Dr. Malhotra didn’t stop there. He also named Hrithik Roshan as having the most ideal male face in the industry, adding that if Roshan ever approached him for cosmetic enhancements, he would be at a loss for what changes could possibly be made. “If Hrithik came to me for surgery, I’d genuinely ask—what is there to alter?” Dr. Malhotra remarked.

Meanwhile, Roshan is set to return to the big screen with War 2 later this year. He is also preparing to make his directorial debut with Krrish 4, where he will reprise his iconic superhero role.
