Bhanu Chopra, the founder of RateGain, has bought a luxurious bungalow at Delhi Golf’s Links Road for Rs 127.5 crore. For the unversed, RateGain provides Software as a Service (SaaS) services to the hospitality and travel sector.
According to reports, Bhanu Chopra paid a stamp duty of Rs 6.79 crore. The property was registered on February 24. It is one of the poshest localities in Delhi and houses several VIPs including diplomats.
Bhanu Chopra’s career
In 2004, Bhanu Chopra established the company after he realized a gap in the market. When he was working as a consultant with Deloitte, he used to travelled a lot between the US and Europe. He used to spend a lot of time finding the best flight rates. This made him start Rategain as a price comparison website for consumers.
