Hurun India and 360 Wealth recently came up with the 360 ONE Wealth Hurun India Rich List for 2023 – It featured Mukesh Ambani as the richest man with a net worth of Rs 8 lakh crore. Gautam Adani and Family followed him with an estimated net worth of Rs 4 lakh crore, and Cyrus Poonawalla and Family ranked number three with a combined wealth of over Rs 2 lakh crore.
That’s not all, the list reflected that India now has 259 billionaires. Mumbai tops the rich list with 328 business tycoons, followed by New Delhi with 199 and Bengaluru with 100 prominent names.

Bangalore, India’s IT hub saw a growth in the number of affluent billionaires. The known richest names of the city’s residents are – Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, chairperson and Managing Director of Biocon, Azim Premji of Wipro; and N R Narayana Murthy, one of the seven co-founders of Infosys.
As per the Hurun list, Azim Premji has an estimated net worth of Rs 30,000 crore, while Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Narayama Murthy have a net worth of Rs 17,000 crore and Rs 35,000 crore, respectively, as per Forbes. However, neither of the three are the richest in the Karnataka capital.

Arjun Menda went to IIT Kharagpur to pursue a degree in Production Technology. He began his professional journey as an industrial engineer at Mahindra & Mahindra Limited and then took over the role of Production Manager at Gabriel India Limited. In the 1980s, he decided to venture into the field of real estate and established RMZ Corp. In 1990, he established the Menda Foundation, which awards roughly 700 scholarships each year.
