Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s high-octane action drama War 2 continues its steady run at the box office, showing strong performance despite a noticeable drop in weekday collections. Released on August 14, the Ayan Mukerji directorial has maintained strong collections across major territories, with total domestic earnings now reaching Rs 192.85 crore.
War 2 box office collection Day 6
According to figures reported by industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 8.35 crore net on its sixth day in India, a slight dip from Monday’s Rs 8.75 crore. While weekday numbers remain in single digits, the overall performance still continues to soar, indicating solid audience interest, especially in the Hindi-speaking regions.
The film was simultaneously released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, catering to a pan-India audience. Despite a mid-week slowdown, industry experts believe the upcoming weekend will be crucial for pushing War 2 past the Rs 200-crore mark.

While audience reception has been largely positive, trade analysts remain cautious. Renowned film critic Taran Adarsh shared his concerns on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “#War2 crashes on the make-or-break Monday, continuing its weak trend after a below-par extended weekend. #War2 [Week 1] Thu ₹29 cr, Fri ₹46 cr, Sat ₹27 cr, Sun ₹28 cr, Mon ₹7.50 cr. Total: ₹137.50 cr.”
About War 2
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also stars Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor, and is part of YRF’s spy-universe franchise. Despite facing tough competition from Rajinikanth’s Coolie, the film continues to draw crowds, especially in metropolitan regions. The global earnings have not yet been disclosed, but expectations remain high as the film nears its Rs 200-crore milestone in India.
