The last post was dated four days back and said, “White & black: the yin and yang that balance my life.” Poonam Pandey was seen in beautiful black leather pants with a pearl white top finishing with an amazing neckpiece. The last post was a video from Goa on January 29, 2024.
The Yin and Yang theory is a concept from Chinese philosophy that explains the balance between opposites in the world. It suggests that everything has two opposite and complementary forces, like light and dark or hot and cold. Yin represents the passive, dark, and cold aspects, while Yang symbolizes the active, bright, and warm elements. The harmony and balance between Yin and Yang are believed to create equilibrium and contribute to the natural order of things in life.
Meanwhile, Pandey’s cause of death has sparked a conversation in the medical community also. Talking to Financialexpress.com, Dr Priya Bansal, Consultant (Gynae Oncosurgery) Fortis Hospital, Noida said that, “Cervical cancer vaccine is recommended for girls in the age group of 9-14 years. However, we can give in older women the efficacy of prevention is not proven hence 3 yearly cervical smear is a must in all older women who are sexually active.”
Bansal went on to say that “80 out 100 women who are sexually active at any point in their life, will have HPV viral infection once in their lifetime and most of the women will clear the virus with the help of their immunity however with anyone who has low immunity because of diabetes, smoking, autoimmune disease etc will not be able to clear it off. And the virus will stay in the cervix and vagina to slowly develop cervical cancer. If screened 3 yearly, we can pick up the virus. Even if a girl has been vaccinated she has to have 3 yearly screenings.”
