Gujarati film Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate is refusing to slow down at the box office. Now in its seventh week, the devotional drama is still drawing packed audiences and is steadily moving toward the rare Rs 100 crore milestone. Made on a modest budget of just Rs 50 lakh, the film has already earned an unbelievable profit of more than 14,000 per cent, making it one of the biggest success stories in regional cinema.
A slow start that turned into a blockbuster
The film’s journey has been remarkable. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie has collected around Rs 73.35 crore nett so far and is expected to complete 50 days in theatres this week. Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate opened slowly, earning just Rs 26 lakh in its first week, and showed only slight improvement in the second. But things changed significantly in the third week when collections jumped by more than 100 per cent.
The breakthrough came in the fourth week with an astonishing 1,800 per cent surge, after which the momentum never faded. Weeks five and six brought in nearly Rs 25 crore each, and the seventh weekend alone added almost Rs 10 crore.

Directed by Ankit Sakhiya, the film is now on track to become the first-ever Gujarati movie to cross the Rs 100 crore nett mark. It has already overtaken Chaal Jeevi Laiye, which held the previous record with Rs 50 crore in lifetime earnings. With its soaring numbers, Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate has become the highest-grossing Gujarati film in history.
