Animation will come to life at this year’s MAMA Awards. In a major announcement, the South Korean awards ceremony’s organisers revealed today that a special collaboration will bring together members from different K-pop idol groups to for the one-of-a-kind crossover called the ‘WONDER STAGE.’

This iconic team-up will show real-life K-pop artists stepping into the roles of fictional music acts HUNTR/X (or Huntrix) and Saja Boys, which became record-breaking sensations across music charts this year, thanks to their Netflix fame. Both groups trace their origins to the chart-smashing hit animation flick KPop Demon Hunters.

Although the real-life artists/actors behind the animation charade have already gained monumental popularity since the film’s OTT premiere and subsequent limited theatrical screenings, other stars will be playing them at the upcoming MAMA Awards 2025.

Just earlier this month, the 2025 MAMA Awards announced special stages, including KPop Demon Hunters reenactments. The lineup for these showcases has finally been disclosed.
