International Emmy Awards 2024 Full Winners List: The 52nd International Emmy Awards, celebrating the best television productions from around the globe, took center stage on Tuesday at the New York Hilton Midtown. The event was hosted by Indian comedian Vir Das. India had dual reasons to celebrate, with the critically acclaimed series The Night Manager nominated for Best Drama Series and Das as the charismatic host. However, the coveted Best Drama Series award went to French-American-Japanese show Drops of God.
Other highlights of the evening included Argentina’s División Palermo winning Best Comedy Series, underscoring the country’s growing influence in global television. British actor Timothy Spall was honored as Best Actor for his compelling portrayal of Peter Farquhar in The Sixth Commandment, while Thailand’s Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying took home Best Actress for her performance in Hunger.
With countries like France, Japan, Argentina, and Thailand shining in major categories, the ceremony once again emphasized the universal appeal of storytelling. Organised by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the event celebrated creativity beyond borders.
