Dhak dhak girl of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit, celebrates her 57th birthday today on May 15. Born in 1967, the actress entered into the film industry in 1984 with ‘Abodh’, however she got the limelight with the film Tezaab in 1988 when she got acclaimed for the song ‘Ek do teen’. - Dola re dola
“Dola Re Dola” is a song from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2002 Indian period romance drama film Devdas, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Madhuri Dixit. Ismail Darbar wrote the music, Nusrat Badr gave the lyrics, and Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shreya Ghoshal, and KK (backing vocals) sang it. Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit, two of the biggest actresses of the time, performed a unique dance duet for the song, which won praise from both critics and fans and went on to become a hit.
