Homebound

Based on a 2020 New York Times article by journalist Basharat Peer, the film follows the lives of two childhood friends from a small village in North India who dream of becoming police officers one day to escape poverty and social discrimination. However, they face several challenges in the form of religious tensions and caste issues which test their friendship. Starring Ishan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa in the leading roles.

The Family Man Season 3

Critically acclaimed The Family Man returns after four long years with an exciting new season. Manoj Bajpayee reprises his role as Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man who leads a dual life as a spy. Season 3 will see the show tackle real-life issues such as the turbulence in North Eastern India and intertwining it with the on-going plot. The synopsis on Prime Video reads, “On a personal mission to avenge an assassination, Srikant Tiwari unravels a devious conspiracy that threatens to send India to the brink of war.”

One Shot With Ed Sheeran

Shot by Adolescence director Philip Barantini, One Shot With Ed Sheeran follows the musician as he performs his hits in one continuous take on the streets of New York City. Music lovers are going to love the spontaneity of the Netflix Special as it follows Sheeran interacting with fans, riding the subway and creating magical music moments.

The Death of Bunny Munro

Starring Matt Smith and Rafael Mathé, The Death of Bunny Munro is a black-comedy which is based on Nick Cave’s novel of the same name. The six-part series follows Matt Smith as he plays a sex-addicted, door-to-door salesman who takes a trip across Southern England with his 9-year-old son after the death of his wife.

Dining With The Kapoors

Dining with the Kapoors gives an intimate look at the private lives of Bollywood’s first family: The Kapoors. It is a documentary-style special where fans can watch members of the Kapoor clan coming together for their annual lunch to celebrate the 100th birthday of Raj Kapoor.

Bison

Mari Selvaraj’s sports action drama Bison is as riveting as is expected from the director. The film follows the real life struggles of former kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan who was nicknamed ‘Bison’ because of his strength. The movie does not shy away from approaching serious topics such as casteism, communal violence and corruption and handles them with tact and care. Watchers are in for an engrossing time.

Bengal Files

The third and final installment in filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri’s The Files Trilogy, Bengal files follows the tragic real-life historical events of D-Day or Direct Action Day which happened in 1946. The film also depicts the horror of the Noakhali riots and shows the aftermath of these incidents.
