Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan movies in 2026: For the first time in eight years, all the Khans are rolling out their movies in one year. 2026 might just become a blockbuster year for Bollywood as Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’, Salman Khan’s ‘Battle of Galwan’, and Aamir Khan’s ‘Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos’ is all set to release this year. This has only happened once before, in 2018, which turned out to have a mixed outcome.

While King Khan’s ‘Zero’ and Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ were not received well, Salman Khan’s Race 3 grossed nearly Rs 300 crore worldwide. However, experts in 2026 have a flipped prediction for these Khans’ upcoming movies. Industry analyst Taran Adarsh shared that Shah Rukh Khan’s 2026 release, King, would become one of India’s top five films. Carrying forward from that, the chain reaction might impact Salman Khan’s ‘Battle of Galwan’ positively too. While the stakes are high, as the 60 year olds follow the youngblood Ranveer Singh’s mega-blockbuster Rs 1100 crore Dhurandhar.

Shah Rukh Khan

Headlining his comeback after Dunki, recovering from the underwhelming response, the Badshah of Bollywood will also launch his daughter, Suhana, in the film. As Deepika Padukone joined the spy universe, fans got even excited as with their upcoming reunion after 2023’s Pathaan. King, directed by Siddharth Anand is anticipated for a release in late 2026. It will also feature Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Rani Mukerji. However, its teaser was not received well, given the endless comparisons fans drew, between SRK’s character and a previously released Tom Cruise film. With music from Anirudh Ravichander, likely, Bollywood enthusiasts will also welcome some party bangers, this year.

Salman Khan

Salman Khan’s ‘Battle of Galwan‘ is all set to release on April 17. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the Dabangg star turns to the Armed Forces this time. Based on the Galwan clash in 2020, the film immortalised the tale of Santosh Babu, who fought valiantly during the India-China border clash. Despite its grandeur, and Salman Khan’s first release as a 60-year-old, the trailer was trolled on social media. Questioning the expressions of the headlining star, the netizens were confused whether he was going to sing a romantic number or fight a battle. Fans also compared the imagery to Game of Thrones. However, the star power and mass appeal are likely to drive audiences to the theatres, just as it did during Sikander in early 2025.

Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan will return to the big screen after the blockbuster Sitaare Zameen Par in 2025. Marking Emmy-nominated comedian Vir Das’ directorial debut, Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos will bring Khan in a comedic cameo. While he does not star as the protagonist, his extended cameo in a curly-haired wig is a much-awaited moment in Indian cinema. Khan is also set to play a role in his production ‘Lahore 1947’, largely led by Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Ali Fazal, and Shabana Azmi.
