Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar continues its dream run at the box office and has become one of the biggest hits of the year. As the film enters its third week in theatres, it has sustained strong momentum and created several new box office records in India and overseas. On Day 10, Dhurandhar recorded Rs 351.7 crore net at the Indian box office, while its domestic gross collection touched Rs 420 crore. The film has also performed exceptionally well internationally, earning around Rs 110 crore from overseas markets. This takes its total worldwide gross to Rs 530 crore within just 10 days of release.

Dhurandhar’s record-breaking second weekend

One of the biggest highlights of Dhurandhar’s run has been its extraordinary second weekend. The film collected a massive Rs 144 crore during the second weekend, making it the highest second weekend collection ever for an Indian film. According to trade reports by Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned Rs 59 crore on Sunday, Rs 53 crore on Saturday and Rs 32.5 crore on Friday. All figures are for the Hindi version.

Dhurandhar beats major blockbusters on day 10

With these numbers, Dhurandhar surpassed the 10th-day collections of several major blockbusters, including Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, Pushpa 2, Stree 2 and Animal. The film saw nearly a 60 per cent jump at the start of its second weekend, indicating strong word-of-mouth and growing audience interest.

Midnight shows added due to demand

Due to popular demand, several theatres have added midnight shows for Dhurandhar. The film is expected to remain steady on weekdays as well, with trade analysts predicting it will cross the Rs 400 crore net mark in India very soon.

Strong performance at the US box office

Dhurandhar’s impact is being felt overseas as well. As per Comscore, the film has emerged as one of the top five most-watched films at the US box office, a rare achievement for an Indian action drama.

Star cast and production details

Released in theatres on December 5, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh in the lead, along with Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and Soumya Trivedi. The film is jointly produced by Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under B62 Studios, in association with Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios.

Akshaye Khanna wins special praise

The film has received strong appreciation for its performances. Ranveer Singh’s portrayal of spy Jaskirat Singh Rangi has impressed audiences. Dhurandhar story

Inspired by real events, Dhurandhar tells the story of Mission Dhurandhar, India’s first major espionage operation after the 2001 Parliament attack. The plot follows intelligence officer Jaskirat Singh Rangi as he infiltrates the Lyari gang in Karachi, leading to a tense battle of minds and power.
