Dhurandhar box office collection day 16: Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has had a blockbuster dream run. The event box office turnout has broken several records, making it Ranveer Singh’s biggest movie yet – surpassing his historic Padmavat. On its third Saturday now, Dhurandhar collected another Rs 30 crore, as the total box office collection soared past the Rs 500 crore mark in India.
Loaded with historic references, the war drama has intense visuals, viral background scores, and Bollywood’s latest sensation, Akshaye Khanna. Making history, Aditya Dhar’s creation is all set to release its sequel, too, in March 2026. As Dhurandhar sets a benchmark for itself every day, filmmakers Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ram Gopal Varma cannot help but shower praises for the intensely gripping spy-thriller.

With the third Sunday looming over for another historic moment, here’s a look at Dhurandhar’s box office performance so far.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Ranveer Singh-Akshaye Khanna starrer had a Rs 28 crore opening day. Followed by Rs 32 crore on Saturday and Rs 43 crore on Sunday, its debut weekend score surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark with ease. The Monday slump did not faze Dhurandhar as it remained afloat the Rs 20 crore mark.
After making Rs 207 crore in its first week, it broke the record of Pushpa 2, the third-biggest movie Indian cinema has ever seen, for its second week tally. Opening to another blockbuster weekend, the second weekend raked in another Rs 110 crore. With the total box office collection at Rs 300 crore, the international record looked hopeful too.
As Dhurandhar touched the Rs 400 crore mark in its second week, the third week started with a Rs 22 crore day. On its third Saturday, Dhurandhar grossed Rs 33.5 crore. Dhurandhar’s box office collection on day 16 came to Rs 516.5 crore.
Also starring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan, Dhurandhar faces stiff competition from James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash worldwide. Aiming for a $300 million collection for its debut weekend, the Avatar threequel also grossed Rs 41 crore in two days on Indian box offices.
