Aamir Khan-starrer ‘PK’ has impressed the North American audience too after enthralling their Indian counterparts. ‘PK’ box office collections for Friday through Sunday at US and Canadian theaters stood at $3.5 million and $22.1 million in international theatres, according to Rentrak.

In fact, ‘PK’ has beaten Hollywood movies like ‘Penguins of Madagascar’ ($16.5 million), ‘Big Hero 6′ ($11.5 million) and ”Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb’ ($10.8 million), moving to third position in estimated ticket sales over the weekend in the international box office. In the domestic box office, PK box office collections have gone up over the first weekend at over Rs 90 crore after opening at Rs 26.63 crore. The film now stands at No 7 in the all-time opening day list.
