2025 SBS Drama Awards date and hosts
This year’s highly anticipated electric ceremony will be held on Wednesday, December 31, at 9 pm KST (5 pm IST). This marks the show’s return to its traditional custom of holding the year-end event on the final day of the year for the first time in three years.
According to K-media outlet SPOTV News, while the ceremony has long been held on December 31, the last few years have seen this is ritual breaking. Back in 2023, the SBS Drama Awards took place on December 29, and then in 2024 they were scheduled for an even earlier date on December 21, signifying an over 20-year shattering of tradition.
Broadcaster Shin Dong Yup, and actors Chae Won Bin (Doubt) and Heo Nam Jun (When the Phone Rings) will be hosting the live ceremony.
