Dussehra, also known as VijayDashami, is a nine-day-long Navratri festival. India will celebrate Dussehra on October 24, 2023 and is a public holiday. Schools and businesses will remain closed on the day of Dussehra. The day is also significant for the commencement of preparations for Diwali. Diwali is to be celebrated 20 days after Dussehra.
