CBSE Board Exam 2024: Students traveling today to appear for their CBSE class 12 board examination might face traffic congestion today. Students need to follow a different route due to the traffic congestion on the usual routes.

Delhi Police issued a traffic advisory due to the vehicular movement that will remain affected by the deployment of pickets or checking at various borders of the capital city.

The Central Board of Secondary Education class 12 examination begins today, February 22. The first exam will be on English, the common subject for all streams (science, humanities, and commerce).

CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2024: Travel advisory

1) Traffic from the Dhaula Kuan side bound for Gurugram will be rerouted via a U-Turn at Rajokri Underflyover towards Dwarka Link Road, then a left turn at Samalkha T-Point, or through Kapashera Chowk towards Bijwasan Najafgarh Road, and also towards Bajghera Border.

2) For traffic originating from Gurugram on NH 8, it is recommended to take MG Road from IFFCO Chowk or Shankar Chowk.

3) Vehicles coming from Kapashera Border will be directed towards Samalkha-T-Point via Kapashera Chowk, and then take a right turn towards NH-8.

4) Goods vehicles are prohibited from traveling from Najafgarh towards Kapashera Chowk on Najafgarh Bijwasan Road. Light vehicles will be redirected towards Bajghera Border and Kapashera Border from the Najafgarh side.

5) Travelers heading towards Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Gurugram, etc., via Rohtak Road, Najafgarh-Jharoda Road, and Najafgarh-Dhansa Road are advised to utilize Najafgarh Nangloi Road from Nangloi Chowk, Najafgarh Daurala Road from Najafgarh, and Najafgarh Chhawla Road from Najafgarh to enter Haryana.

6) Inbound and outbound traffic to Haryana is being redirected through Zero Palla, Singhu School Toll, Piao Maniyari, Saboli, Safiyabad, and Lampur. However, heavy traffic persists at these borders throughout the day.

7) Vehicles from Singhu Border and nearby borders heading towards NH-44 can exit via the Eastern Peripheral Expressway at specified borders.

8) Vehicular traffic bound for Haryana on NH-44 and Sonia Vihar Border, straight to Tronica City Marg, Tronica City should take a left turn onto Delhi Dehradun Expressway (7 KM), Mandola Musoorie Khekra (10 KM), then a left turn onto Eastern Peripheral Expressway (19 KM), Rai cut (NH-44), totaling 36 KM.
