Bihar Board 10th Toppers List 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially announced the results for the Class 10 final examinations, along with the full list of toppers. Students who appeared for the exams can now check their results on the official websites: interresult2025.com and interbiharboard.com. The BSEB Matric Class 10 exams were held from February 15 to 25, with over 15 lakh students participating.
The number of students appearing for the BSEB Matric exams has fluctuated over the years. In 2021, 16,54,171 students took the exam, compared to 14,94,071 in 2020. The figure then increased to 16,11,099 in 2022 but saw a slight dip to 16,10,657 in 2023. However, in 2024, the number rose again to 16,64,252. Despite minor variations, the overall trend reflects a growing number of students taking the matric exams.
BSEB Class 10th Pass Percentage 2025
The BSEB Class 10 matric results announced today recorded a decline in the passing percentage. This year, the pass rate stands at 82.11%, compared to 82.91% last year.
In last year’s BSEB Class 10 exams, Shivankar Kumar secured the first rank with 489 marks, followed by Adarsha Kumar in second place with 488 marks. The third rank was jointly held by Aditya Kumar, Suman Kumar, Palak Kumari, and Shazia Parveen, all of whom scored 486 marks.

BSEB Matric Result 2025: Boys outshine girls
In the 2025 BSEB Matric results, boys have outperformed girls in terms of pass percentage. The pass rate for boys stands at 83.65%, while for girls, it is 80.67%.

BSEB Bihar Board Class 12 Result 2025: Steps to check on official website
Candidates will need to enter their BSEB Matric Class 10 registration number or roll number and password to check their scorecards. The scorecard downloaded from the website is provisional. The official scorecard, signed by the Board, will be issued later and is required for admission purposes.
How to Check Bihar Board 10th Result 2025 via SMS
In addition to the official and third-party websites, students can check their results via SMS for offline access, especially if the website crashes. To get the mark sheet by SMS, follow these steps:
- Open the SMS application on your phone.
- Type the message in this format: (ROLL-NUMBER) BIHAR10
- Send the message to 56263.
- The BSEB Class 10 results will be sent directly to the same number by the board.
BSEB Matric Class 10 Results 2025: Last Year’s Performance
Last year, the BSEB results were declared on March 31, 2024. The exams took place from February 15 to 23, and the overall pass percentage was 82.91%. In 2024, 4,52,302 students secured first division, with 2,52,846 boys and 1,99,456 girls. The second division was claimed by 5,24,965 students, including 2,52,121 boys and 2,72,844 girls.
In 2024, a total of 3,80,732 students achieved third division, consisting of 1,66,093 boys and 2,14,639 girls. Around 21,843 students fell under the pass category. Shivankar Kumar topped the Bihar Board exam. In Patna district, Rahul Kumar ranked first with a score of 485, followed by Rimjhim Kumari with 479 marks, and Farhan Akhtar with 477 marks.
In 2023, the overall pass percentage for the BSEB Class 10 exam was 81.04%, compared to 79.88% in 2022, 78.17% in 2021, and 80.59% in 2020. The Bihar Board Class 12 results are expected to be announced in the last week of March. The BSEB Class 12 exams were held from February 1 to 15.
