UP Board Class 10th 12th Result: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Parishad (UPMSP), Prayagraj, announced the results for the UP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations today, April 20 at 2 pm. Students can now access the Matric and Inter results on the official UP Board official websites — upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in.

As per the statement from UP Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla, the assessment procedure for both Class 10 and Class 12 was finalized within a span of 12 working days. Notably, this year’s evaluation was momentarily halted from March 24 to 26 in observance of the Holi festival.

For Class 10, the pass percentage stands at 89.55, while for Class 12, it is 82.60. Out of the 2,935,353 students registered for the Class 10 exams, 2,738,399 appeared, with 2,455,041 passing. Moreover, 11,982 private candidates registered, with 10,365 appearing and 6,985 passing.

UP Board Class 10, 12 Results: Girls score more than boys!

In the Class 10 examinations, girls have once again outshined boys, showcasing a higher pass percentage. This year, girls achieved an impressive pass rate of 93.40%, surpassing their male counterparts whose pass percentage stood at 86.05%.

Similarly, in the Class 12 examinations, girls have demonstrated superior performance compared to boys. With an overall pass percentage of 88.42%, female students have outperformed males by a significant margin of 10.64 percentage points. In contrast, the pass percentage for male students in Class 12 was recorded at 77.78%.

UP Board Passing Marks 2024

In order to successfully pass the UP Board Class 10 examination, candidates must obtain a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. Should students find themselves dissatisfied with their results, they have the opportunity to request supplementary or compartmental examinations.
