TN 12th Results 2024 Highlights: The Tamil Nadu Class 12 results have been announced. The Directorate of Government Examination (DGE) Tamil Nadu declared the HSE (+2) or Class 12th results today, May 6, at 9:30 am. Students can now check the TN 12th result 2024 on tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in.

Students who have appeared in the TN HSE Plus 2 Examinations of 2024 can check and download the results from the official website of the Board at tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in. The results may also be available on dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in.
This year, the TN 12th or HSE final exam was conducted from March 1st to March 22nd. The papers started at 10.15 am and ended at 1.15 pm on all days.

The overall pass percentage this year is 94.56%. Girls secured 96.44%, whereas the pass percentage of boys is 92.37%.
In the current year, a total of 7,60,606 students sat for the TN HSE +2 exam. Over the years, there has been a decline in the number of students taking the TN Class 12 HSE +2 exams. In 2019, there were 8,42,512 students, which decreased to 7,79,931 in 2020. Although the number increased to 8,16,473 in 2021, it declined again to 8,06,277 in 2022 and further to 8,03,385 in 2023.

This year a total of 26,352 students scored 100 marks in any subject for TN 12th result 2024.
This year, the Science stream recorded the highest pass rate among students, with 96.35 percent passing. For Commerce subjects, the pass percentage was 92.46 percent. In Arts, the pass percentage stood at 85.67 percent. Vocational students achieved a pass rate of 85.85 percent.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) will not be releasing toppers list for TN 12th Result this year.
A total of 125 prisoners participated in the TNDGE TN 12th Exam 2024, with 115 successfully passing.

In mathematics, 2,587 students achieved full marks, while 633 in physics and 471 in chemistry scored 100% this year.
Here's a step-by-step guide to checking TN Class 12 result 2024:

In total, 2,478 schools have achieved a 100 percent result, indicating that all candidates from those schools have passed the board examination. Among these, 397 are government schools.
The pass percentage of female candidates is 4.07 percentage points higher than that of males. Additionally, the overall pass percentage (across all genders) has increased this year.

To pass, students must achieve a minimum of 35 out of 100 in each subject. If they fail in one or more subjects, they have the option to take supplementary exams to improve their scores.
In the Tamil Nadu Class 12 final exam, a total of 7,60,606 students appeared, including 4,08,440 female candidates and 3,52,165 male candidates. Additionally, one transgender candidate also took the exam.
Students must score a minimum of 35 marks per subject out of a total of 100 marks in the TN HSE +2 exams. Each subject consists of a theory component, a practical component, and internal assessment.
