TN SSLC 10th Result 2024 Highlights Direct Link at dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu announced the results of the Class 10 board exam 2024 today at 9:30 am. Students can now access their results via the official website, tnresults.nic.in.
This year, the pass percentage has seen an improvement to 91.55% from last year’s 91.39%. Girls have outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 94.53%. Meanwhile, the overall pass percentage for boys is 88.58%. This year, a total of 8.18 lakh students, out of a total of 8,94,264 have passed the exam.
Consistent with tradition, the DGE Tamil Nadu will abstain from disclosing the names of top-performing students at the press conference. Instead, the board will disclose the city or district with the highest pass percentage along with other pertinent details. This practice is intended to mitigate undue competition among students.
How to Check TN SSLC 10th Result 2024
1. Visit the official website, tnresults.nic.in.
2. Navigate to the homepage and select “TN Board Class 10th (SSCL) Result 2024.”
3. A new window will appear; input your login credentials such as roll number, date of birth, and captcha code.
4. Click on ‘submit.’
5. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
6. Download and print the board result for future reference.

All 15 students who sat for the 10th class general exam at Government School for Visually Impaired, Poontamalli, Chennai, have achieved a 100% pass rate.

Provisional marks certificate will be issued from May 13.
Students can start applying for the supplementary exams on May 15 till May 20. The registeration for the exams will begin from May 11. The re-exmaination will be conducted on July 2.
A total of 228 jail inmates have cleared the Tamil Nadu Class 10th exam out of 260 inmates who appeared for it. The pass percentage for the jail inmates stands at 87.69%.
This year, Vellore is the lowest-performing district with an overall pass percentage of 82.07%.
Ariyalur has emerged as the best performing district this year. It is followed by Sivagangai and Ramanathapuram in the second and third place, respectively.
About 4105 schools have scored 100% result. Out of these 1364 are government schools.
Thousands of students have secured perfect scores in different subjects. In Tamil, eight students have achieved the perfect score, while in English 415 students were able to get 100. Mathematics saw 20691 students with a score of 100, while Science and Social Science saw 5104 and 4428 students secure 100 marks, respectively.

The students can obtain their online marksheets from the government website dge.tn.gov.in by inputting their roll number and date of birth. However, make note that these marksheets are provisional.

This year around 8 lakh candidates have appeared for the Class 10 board examination.
The Tamil Nadu Class 10th board exams took place between March 26 and April 8, 2024. Consistently, exams were held in a single session each day, running from 10 am to 1.15 pm at multiple centers across the state.
