The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of Junior Associates in the Customer Support and Sales section, offering 13,735 vacancies. The application process has already begun and the last date to apply is January 7, 2024. Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age to be eligible.
SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: Exam schedule and application fees
The preliminary exam is tentatively scheduled for February 2024, followed by the mains examination between March and April. Application fees are Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates and Rs 600 for General and OBC candidates.
SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline, completed via regular or distance mode from a recognized university. Equivalent qualifications approved by the Central Government are also acceptable.
Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificates must ensure their passing date aligns with the eligibility criteria. Ex-servicemen with matriculation and a special Indian Army/Navy/Air Force education certificate after at least 15 years of service are also eligible.
Applicants must be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: Selection process
The recruitment process consists of two stages-
Preliminary Exam: This one-hour test includes English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability, totaling 100 marks.
Main Exam: The mains exam features sections on General/Financial Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and Computer Aptitude.
Shortlisted candidates will be ranked based on their performance, and only a limited number of top-ranked candidates—up to three per vacancy—will advance to the interview round.
