Physics Wallah (PW) launched two new courses. The first is a specialised Nursing Course, designed to provide guidance and support for aspiring nurses and healthcare professionals, while the other is a Post Graduate Certification Programme in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) by PW’s skilling vertical, PW Skills, as per the official release from the company.
PW’s batches for nursing aim to offer comprehensive guidance and support through three batches: Aarogyam, Ayushman and Nightingale. Each batch caters to specific exam preparations and career goals, including AIIMS NORCET, RRB Staff Nurse Exam, ESIC Staff Nurse, State Level and CHO Exams. The courses cover various Nursing subjects, exam strategies, and future career prospects, as per the release.
Platform further claims that the Ayushman and Nightingale batches have already garnered significant attention, with over 24,859 subscribers on the app and 14,137 subscribers on YouTube within two months of their launch.
While the BFSI Post Graduation Certification programme is designed to equip students with a diverse skill set, enabling them to unlock their potential in the BFSI sector and become industry-ready. It is a three month online programme, the most affordable in the industry, that will offer mentorship by industry experts and placement assistance to students. The minimum eligibility for the programme is for graduates/final year degree students with a minimum of 50% marks and a maximum age of 25 years.
As per the platform, the programme is conducted in three key segments, including core banking, soft skills and interview preparation. Key offerings of the course include understanding core banking products, placement assistance, resume building, interview preparation, mock interviews, doubt clearing, quizzes, mail support, assignments, expert faculty, certificates and job assistance.
The programme aims to equip learners with industry-relevant skills such as retail banking, banking operations, mutual funds, corporate banking, fintech, etc., enabling them to secure jobs with positions such as Relationship Executive, Sales Officer, Corporate Sales Associate, Microfinance Executive, etc.
Platform further informed that the first batch of the programme is scheduled to commence on January 8, 2024 and will equip students with the expertise and readiness demanded by the BFSI sector.
As part of its future roadmap, PW Skills plans to expand offerings into Tally, Stock Market and Financial Management courses.
