NEET UG Result 2025 Highlights: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the NEET UG 2025 result, student can check their scores at the official website-neet.nta.nic.in. Earlier in the morning, the NTA also released the answer key for NEET UG 2025 exam. Students can download the final answer from the official website-neet.nta.nic.in. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) was conducted nationwide on Sunday, May 4. The results are available on the official NEET UG website — neet.nta.nic.in and the NTA’s main portal — nta.ac.in.
Along with the result and final answer key, NTA will also publish the cut-off scores for admission to MBBS and other allied medical programmes. In 2024, the NEET UG cut-off percentile for general category candidates was 50, while it was 40 for those belonging to OBC, SC, and ST categories. The percentile for NEET UG 2025 will be calculated based on the highest score achieved in the all-India merit list.
This year, NEET UG was held across 5,453 centres in around 500 cities, with over 22.7 lakh candidates registering for the exam. The question paper consisted of 180 mandatory questions spanning physics, chemistry, and biology (botany and zoology).
In comparison, the NEET UG 2024 exam was held on May 5 for over 24 lakh candidates. The provisional answer key was released on May 29, with the objection window closing on May 31. The results were then declared on June 4.
