NTA NEET Results 2023 Live Updates: Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakravarthi from Andhra Pradesh have emerged as the top scorers in this year’s NEET-UG, attaining a remarkable 99.99 percentile, as announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday. Out of the total 20.38 lakh candidates, 11.45 lakh have successfully qualified for the exam.
Uttar Pradesh claims the highest number of qualifying candidates with 1.39 lakh, followed by Maharashtra with 1.31 lakh and Rajasthan with over 1 lakh qualifiers. The NTA conducted the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) across 4,097 centers in 499 cities nationwide, including 14 cities outside India, on May 7.

Among the top 50 candidates in the NEET UG 2023 merit list, there are forty males and ten females.
According to IE, there are four candidates from Tamil Nadu in the top 10 and one each from Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Odisha and Rajasthan.
This year, seven candidates were identified using unfair practices in the examination and have been dealt with as per the norms of NTA.

Of the 20,87,462 candidates, 20,38,596 NEET aspirants appeared of which 11,45,976 have qualified the exam.
This time, the qualifying marks have seen an increase compared to 2022. For general candidates, the cutoff has risen from 138 in 2021 and 117 in 2022 to 137 in 2023. Similarly, for SC, ST, and OBC candidates, the cutoff has increased from 108 in 2021 and 93 in 2022 to 107 in 2023.
