The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling for 2024. Interested candidates can find the detailed schedule on the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
According to the timeline provided by the National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the verification of the seat matrix is set to take place on November 7. Following this, candidates will be able to fill and lock their choices from November 8 to November 17, with the deadline at 11:55 PM.
The seat allotment process will commence on November 18 and conclude on November 19. Results for the first round will be released on November 20, and candidates will need to report for admission between November 21 and November 27.

The NEET PG counselling will consist of four rounds, including the All India Quota (AIQ) rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and a stray vacancy round. All candidates who qualify for AIQ seats based on their NEET PG ranks are eligible to participate in this counselling process. Registration for Round 1 is currently open.
The Directorate General of Health Services, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is tasked with conducting the online counselling for 50% of the All India quota (AIQ) PG medical and dental seats.
