JEE Mains Session 2 Final Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to announce the release of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024’s session 2 paper 1 answer key anytime soon. After the declaration of the answer key, candidates can check the final answer key on the official website: jeemain.nta.ac.in
NTA has cut off the six questions from the final answer key from the session 1 examination this year. Out of the six questions, three dealt with Physics, and the other three were from Physics. The reason behind this step by the NTA was because a physics question number with ID number 533543864 which was there in the examination consisted of two answers namely with the ID 5335432832 and 5335431831.
As per the report, a total of 23 candidates have successfully obtained 100 percentile marks in the JEE Main 2024 session. Telangana was declared the top achiever with seven students bagging the perfect score, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh were in second position as each state had one student each whereas Haryana and Delhi had two candidates who secured 100 percentile results. The coveted 100 percentile score was also secured by individually each representing from Karnataka, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu.
It is expected that the result will be out by tomorrow but it cannot be declared until and unless the final answer key is released. An official confirmation for the same is still awaited.

This year in JEE Main examination, students were given an option to appear for examination in 13 languages in total, namely: Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, English, Gujarati, Bengali and Assamese. For the very first, 21 centres were allotted for the examinations which were out of India, including Oslo, Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong, as per PTI
The NTA has conducted the JEE Main examination in two sessions this year, one held in January and another in April. Around 24 lakh candidates have registered themselves for both the session of examination. In session one of the examinations about 12, 21, 624 students took up the paper, while in session two, around 12.57 lakh candidates appeared for it.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras becomes the forerunner by introducing a sports quota for its undergraduate course. Director V Kamakoti informed that the premier institute has also come up with two supernumerary seats across the courses for the current academic session, as per PTI report
Students will have to answer the examination in two patterns, the first will be multiple choice questions (MCQs) in which four options will be available and one has to choose the correct one. The other one will be Numeric Value questions, which a candidate is supposed to answer by entering a numeric value.
Candidates will be awarded four marks for every correct answer, on marks will get cut off if the answer is incorrect. If the student has opted to leave the answer blank and has marked the answer for a review then in both cases no marks will be obtained.
Students can check the expected JEE Mains Cutoff and qualifying marks which are required for clearing the examination. The JEE Main 2024 Cutoff is expected to rise this year. NTA will release the JEE Main 2024 qualifying and cut-off marks along with the declaration of session 2 results this month.
In session 1, 23 students had attained perfect 100 percentile scores. Telangana led the count with seven top scorers, followed by Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan with three each. Delhi and Haryana boasted two 100 percentile achievers each. Furthermore, one student each from Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Karnataka also secured 100 percentile marks.
During the session 1 exam of 2024, the NTA omitted six questions from the final answer key — three in mathematics and three in physics. Additionally, a physics question from the January 30 (first shift) with the question ID 533543864 has two provided answers: 5335432831 and 5335432832.
Step 1: Visit the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in to access the JEE Main answer key.
Step 2: Locate and click on the link for JEE Main 2024.
Step 3: Enter login credentials, such as roll number and date of birth.
Step 4: Submit the details by clicking the submit button.
Step 5: The answer key for JEE Main examination session 2 paper 1 will then be displayed on the screen.
The examination dates for JEE Main 2024 session 2 examination were held on April, 4, 5, 6, 8 and last was on April 9th, 2024. Candidates were allotted one hour to complete the paper. Whereas, NTA held an examination for JEE Main 2024 paper 2 on April 12, 2024.
Around 51, 570 students have appeared for the JEE MAIN 2024 examination paper 2A (BArch) whereas 24, 876 candidates have given the exam for paper 2B (BPlaning) which was conducted in January 2024.
Students can calculate their All India Rank (AIR) in the JEE Main exam with the help of JEE Main Rank Predictor 2024. The rank is predicted based on the marks secured by students, cutoff trends which were in the past, how tough the paper was, availability of seats, and other factors are taken under consideration.
Candidates can check the JEE Main answer key on the website jeemain.nta.ac. at the moment it is released. However, students won’t need any login credentials for checking the answer key.
Some media reports suggest that the final answer key for JEE Main 2024 is expected to be released tonight. It will be available on the jeemain.nta.ac.in website.
There will be a negative marking in the JEE Main examination for every wrong answer and it will deduct one mark each.
The announcement of JEE Mains 2024 Session 2 final answer key is yet to be confirmed by the official administration but it is expected that it will released very soon.
