Operation Sindoor was launched by the Indian armed forces against Pakistan in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 Indians and one Nepali citizen. As part of the 25-minute operation, India attacked nine terror hotbeds in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The attack has killed several terrorists linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM).
Following this, Pakistan, which has been continuously violating the ceasefire, launched a drone attack on India last night. The Indian defence systems successfully intercepted them and gave Pakistan a “befitting” reply.
