The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) in association with Kingston School of Art, Kingston University, UK, is accepting applications for the UG and PG courses for the academic year 2024-25, as per the press release from the institute. 

The institute claims to provide a range of courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In the undergraduate programmes, students can pursue studies in Fashion Design, Communication Design, Interior Architecture and Design, Fashion Business Management and Fashion Communication. 

At the postgraduate level, the institute claims to offer a specialised programme in Fashion Business Management. Under the guidance of the faculty comprising industry experts, designers and practitioners.

In 2023, the Institute claims to achieve a 94% placement rate, collaborating with more than 250 industry brands to offer placement and internship opportunities to the institute. 

Furthermore, the institute claims that the IIAD students secure placements at brands including IBM, Cognizant, Bain & Co., Yuj Design, Square Boat, WNS Global, Boat Infoedge India, Yatra, Ambience Décor, Design Plus Architects, PLUGD Fab India, House of Masaba, 11:11, Bewakoof and more, spanning diverse sectors such as technology, design  and retail, as per the release. 

The college has announced December 10, 2023, as the deadline for round one. The entrance exam will be held on 16th and 17th December 2023. The academic session for the upcoming batch is scheduled to commence in August 2024.

Eligibility:

  • For Undergraduate Programme, Candidates with 10+2 or equivalent in any stream (Science, Commerce, Humanities/Arts) with an aggregate of minimum 50% are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates appearing for Class XII examination in the current academic year or awaiting results may also apply.
  • Candidates are accepted from CBSE/ISC/State/IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board.
  • For the Postgraduate Programme, Graduates in any stream or discipline from a recognised institute/university are eligible to apply.
  • Final year graduate students or students awaiting results may also apply.
  • For Management courses (UG & PG), students are required to undergo two phases of screening: IIAD entrance examination followed by a personal interview.
