The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is anticipated to release the CA Final and Intermediate results in the first week of July 2024. Students will be able to check their scores on the official websites: icaiexam.icai.org, icai.org, or icai.nic.in.

Dhiraj Khandelwal, a Central Council Member (CCM) of ICAI, suggested that the results might be announced in the first week of July. He stated, “CA Inter and Final Results may come in the first week of July. We have a council meeting on July 2nd and 3rd, so possibly July 5th may be the date for the results.” He advised students to await an official ICAI notification for the precise date, according to The Indian Express.

To access their results, candidates should have their registration number or roll number ready. To qualify for the Intermediate and Final 2024 exams, candidates need to score at least 40 percent in each paper and a minimum of 50 percent overall in each group.

ICAI CA Result 2024: Date and time

According to the official announcement, the results will be declared on July 5. Once released, students can access them on icaiexam.icai.org, icai.org, or icai.nic.in.

ICAI conducted the May 2024 Intermediate exams for Group 1 on May 3, 5 and 9 and for Group 2 on May 11, 15 and 17. The CA Final exams for Group 1 took place on May 2, 4 and 8 and for Group 2 on May 10, 14, and 16.

Previous year’s examination details

In 2023, the CA Final exams for Group 1 were held from May 2 to 9, and for Group 2 from May 11 to 17. The Intermediate exams for Group 1 took place between May 3 to 10, and for Group 2 from May 12 to 18. Akshay Ramesh Jain from Ahmedabad secured All India Rank 1 with a score of 616/800 (77%), followed by Kalpesh Jain in the second position and Prakhar Varshney in the third.

Exam Structure

The CA exam is structured into three distinct levels. The first level is the CA Foundation course examination, which comprises four papers. The second level is the CA Intermediate examination, consisting of eight papers, with candidates having the option to follow either the new syllabus or the old syllabus, both containing eight papers each. The third and final level is the CA Final examination, which also includes eight papers, similarly available in both the new and old syllabi. To achieve the Chartered Accountant designation, candidates must successfully pass all three levels of the exam.
