HP Board 10th, 12th Result 2024 Highlights: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) announced the results of Class 12th Board 2024 today HP Boad headquarters. The results were released via press conference. Students can check their results on the official website of HPBOSE – hpbose.org.
The HP Board examination was held on March 1 and lasted till March 28, 2024. To check their results online, candidates will need their login credentials such as date of birth and roll number.

The HPBOSE Class 12 board exams for 2024 took place from March 1 to March 28. These exams were conducted in a single shift, beginning at 8:45 am and concluding at 12 pm. The mode of examination was through pen and paper.
According to HPBOSE, out of the total 85,777 students who appeared for the Class 12 board exam, 63,092 have successfully passed.
Kamakshi Sharma and Chhaya Chauhan emerged as the joint toppers in the Class 12th Science stream, each scoring an impressive 98.80% overall. Remarkably, both secured 494 marks out of a total of 500.
Sawpan Kumar from Jassur Govt. School secured top spot in Commerce stream with 490 out of 500 marks.
Last year's pass percentage was 79.4 while this year it is 73.76. A drop of 5.64 percent is seen.
Ten students from government schools have achieved positions in the Top 10 ranks. Additionally, the merit list for the HPBOSE 12th Result 2024 comprises 31 students from private schools.
The overall pass percentage for the HP board Class 12th result has decreased by 5.64 percentage points since last year. In 2023, it stood at 79.4 percent, but this year, it has dropped to 73.76 percent.
As per the announcement, 60,000 class 12 students have been declared passed.

According to the board, a combined total of 41 students have secured positions in the top ten merit lists across the Science, Arts, and Commerce streams. Among them, 30 are female students.

Candidates who failed to secure a minimum of 33 percent of marks have the option of appearing for a compartment examination. In this examination, students have a chance to clear the paper. The compartment exams also known as supplementary examinations are scheduled to take place in July and results will be declared by August, the confirmed dates for the same will be announced after the declaration of the results.
Students need to pay a fee of Rs 500 for reevaluation of the answer sheet while for rechecking Rs 400 needs to be paid.
