The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the reopening of the correction window today, April 25th, for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET-UG), which will remain open until April 26th (11:59 pm). This provides a one-time opportunity for candidates to rectify any errors in their uploaded photographs on the official website – neet.ntaonline.in.
As per the official notice, the NTA has noticed that numerous candidates have uploaded photos that do not meet the prescribed format standards. Consequently, the admit cards for these candidates have been withheld. To ascertain their status, candidates must refer to the remarks section of their NEET UG advance city intimation slip.
Scheduled for May 5th this year, the NEET UG exam 2024 will be conducted in pen and paper mode, available in a total of 13 languages.
Addressing the issue, the official notice stated, The official notice addressed the issue, “Upon scrutiny of photographs uploaded by candidates during the registration for NEET (UG) – 2024, it has been observed that the photos uploaded by some candidates are not as per prescribed standards format/required specifications. ”

This year, a total of 23 lakh candidates have registered for the scheduled exam. Among them, there are over 10 lakh male students, over 13 lakh female students, and 24 students who have registered under the ‘third gender’ category.
