The exact date and time for the CUET UG 2024 results have not been announced yet. However, sources indicate that the results will be declared by July 10.
The May 29 exam was exclusively held for a specific subset of students who were unable to attend the Maharana Pratap Group of Colleges exam center on the scheduled date due to the distribution of an incorrect question paper on May 15.
The National Testing Agency will not prepare the CUET UG merit list. As per its own criteria, each participating institution will prepare the merit list.
In India, the CUET is a standardized test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) at 3 levels - CUET (UG), CUET (PG), and CUET (PhD), for admission to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate(PG), and doctorate programmes (PhD) in Central Universities and other educational institutes.
The delay in CUET UG results is exacerbated by additional exam-related controversies. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024, initially set for June 23, was unexpectedly postponed by the Health Ministry as a "precautionary measure" just a day before the exam. This sudden change has heightened the uncertainty and stress among students.
University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar attempted to reassure students by stating, "NTA is working on it and will announce the results date soon." However, this assurance has done little to alleviate the growing unrest among students.
On social media platforms, particularly Twitter, students are using hashtags like #releasecuetresults and #ntadeclareresults to express their concerns. These tweets are flooding the platform, highlighting the collective anxiety and the strong demand for clarity regarding the CUET results.
The specific date and time for the CUET UG results have not been announced yet. However, sources indicate that the results of the CUET UG 2024 exam are expected to be declared by July 10th.
On June 27, the NTA addressed allegations regarding the mishandling of students' answer sheets for the CUET UG 2024. The agency clarified on 'X' (formerly known as Twitter), stating, "These are empty boxes kept outside the hall at NTA and do not contain any sensitive material. Contrary to media reports, these boxes were never left in the open. Additionally, we have a sufficient number of security personnel deployed at the location where the boxes are kept."
After the release, students will have the option to access and download the CUET UG 2024 answer key from the official NTA website- exams.nta.ac.in or CUET-UG. This key resource allows students to review and verify their answers, offering valuable insights into their performance in the CUET UG 2024 examination.
