In the CISCE 2023 results, girls outperformed boys in both ICSE and ISC classes. Among ICSE candidates, 99.21% of girls passed compared to 98.71% of boys. For ISC, 98.01% of girls passed while 95.96% of boys passed. This trend mirrors the results from 2022, where girls had also performed better than boys, with a pass percentage of 99.52% compared to boys' 99.26%.

Anupriya Sinha, from Lucknow, emerged as the top performer, scoring 98.8% in ICSE class 10th, which translates to 494 out of 500 marks. With ambitions for a medical career, Sinha plans to delve into Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) during her 11th and 12th grades.
In the previous year, five ISC students clinched the top rank with each scoring 399 marks. These students were Riyaa Agarwal, Ipshita Bhattacharyya, Mohd Aryaan Tariq, Subham Kumar Agarwal, and Manya Gupta.
After the results are declared, CISCE will permit students to request re-checking and re-evaluation of their marks.

The Class 12th Psychology examination was rescheduled from May 27 to April 4 after a question paper packet was reported lost at one exam center.
The ICSE and ISC exams had begun on Feb 21 and were originally planned to conclude on April 3. However, the exams were extended till April 4 due to the rescheduling of two papers. The Class 12th Chemistry paper, initially to be held on Feb 26, was postponed to March 21 due to unforeseen circumstances.
Last year the pass percentage for ICSE students stood at 98.94%. Among ICSE examinees, girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.21%, whereas boys achieved a pass percentage of 98.71%.
Here are the steps to follow for accessing results on the Careers Portal:
- Upon logging in, click on the 'Examination' tile.
- Navigate to 'ICSE' to access the ICSE (Class X) Year 2024 Examination Results or 'ISC' for the ISC (Class XII) Year 2024 Examination Results on the Menu Bar.
- Select 'Reports' from the ICSE / ISC menu.
- Choose 'Result Tabulation' to view or print the School's Result Tabulation.
- Click on 'Comparison Table' to view or print the same.
The Tabulation Register will be accessible on the CISCE Careers Portal for schools to view or print. Schools can access it by logging into the Careers Portal using the School Principal's login ID and password.
In 2023, 14,149 Scheduled Caste candidates participated, with a pass percentage of 98.36%. Additionally, 8,248 Scheduled Tribe candidates sat for the exam, achieving a pass percentage of 96.92%. Among the candidates from Other Backward Classes, a total of 53,251 individuals took the examination, with a pass percentage of 98.98%.
Apart from the board websites, CISCE will also publish the Class 10 and 12 results on DigiLocker, accessible at results.digilocker.gov.in.
Beginning this academic session, CISCE has ceased compartment exams for Classes 10th and 12th. Instead, candidates now have the option to take improvement exams in a maximum of two subjects to enhance their marks or grades within the same academic year. These improvement exams will be held in July.
