India’s logistics sector will see significant improvement with the development of Vadhavan Port in Maharashtra. The greenfield deep-draft port, built on reclaimed sea land, will provide access to deeper waters and accommodate larger vessels. The project, a joint venture between JNPA and MMB, aims to reduce congestion at existing ports, increase cargo handling capacity.
