The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Chhattisgarh will release the seat allotment list for Round 1 on August 27. Candidates who registered for state quota seats in MBBS and BDS programs can check the seat allotment result on the official website – cgdme.in.

For candidates allocated seats in government medical colleges during the first round of NEET UG counselling in Chhattisgarh, taking admission is mandatory. However, admission to private medical colleges, government dental colleges and private dental colleges is optional in this round.

All candidates, regardless of their choice, must undergo the mandatory scrutiny process and be deemed eligible. Those who do not accept their seat in a government medical college will be excluded from further rounds of counselling.

Candidates allotted seats in government medical colleges in Round 1 must report to their respective institutions for physical verification of documents by the scrutiny committee. After successfully completing the scrutiny, candidates are required to confirm their admission to the allotted government medical college.

For those seeking an upgrade from Round 1 to Round 2, they must log in to the candidate portal and confirm their willingness to upgrade using an OTP. Once this option is used, the previous choice list becomes invalid, and candidates must submit fresh choices with locking and final submission. It’s important to note that a government medical college seat allotted in Round 1 will not be reassigned in Round 2 or any subsequent rounds of NEET UG counselling.
