The government has decided to double the reward amount, meaning the toppers will receive more than before, Jagran Josh reported. Last year, the government had announced that in 2025, the toppers of the board exams would receive double the reward.
Now, both the 10th and 12th grade toppers will receive a cash prize of 2 lakh rupees, which was previously 1 lakh rupees. Additionally, the first-place student will also receive a laptop, certificate, and medal. The prize for second-place students has been increased from 75,000 rupees to 1.5 lakh rupees, while third-place students will receive 1 lakh rupees instead of 50,000 rupees. Students ranking from 4th to 10th in the 10th grade will receive a reward of 30,000 rupees. This decision by the government will surely motivate the toppers even more!
