BPSSC SI recruitment 2017: The online application process for the post of police sub-inspector has been initiated by the Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC). The comission has invited a applications from interested and eligible candidates to fill a total of 1717 posts. Candidates who want to apply for the vacancy can do so now by visiting the official website of the comission at bpssc.bih.nic.in. The online application process has already started and the last date to submit filled form is till November 30, 2017. The eligible candidates can fill the application form online via the official BPSSC website. General and OBC category candidates will have to pay Rs 700 to apply, whereas reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 400.

Bihar police SI vacancy 2017: Eligibility and Selection process for BPSSC police sub-inspector recruitment-
Interested candidates need to be atleast 20 years old. Candidates older than 37 years of age will not be allowed to apply (However, upper age limit has relaxation up to 42 years for reserved categories) Candidates also need to possess a graduation degree from a recognised institution.
The BPSSC police sub-inspector recruitment process will take part in two stages of written examination. The preliminary exam which will contain 100 questions with a total weightage of 200 marks. In this exam, candidates need to score at least 30 marks in order to qualify for the next round. Candidates who successfully qualify the preliminary examination will be able to appear for the mains exam. Here too, candidates are required to score at least 30 marks to clear the paper.
