The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that admit cards for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Mains 2025 will be available for download on April 12. Registered candidates can access their e-admit cards from the official website: bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.

The BPSC 70th CCE Mains exam is scheduled to take place from April 25 to April 30, 2025, excluding April 27. Earlier, the preliminary exams for the Integrated 70th CCE were conducted on December 13, 2024, and January 4, 2025, with results declared on January 23, 2025.

In related developments, the Patna High Court recently dismissed several petitions seeking the cancellation of the CCE Preliminary exams. A division bench led by Acting Chief Justice Ashutosh Kumar and Justice Partha Sarathy observed that there was “no definitive evidence of malpractice” during the tests held at over 900 centres. The court directed the Commission to ensure a fair and transparent conduct of the Mains examination.

The controversy around the prelims emerged after hundreds of candidates boycotted the exam, particularly those assigned to the Bapu Pariksha Parisar in Patna.

The registration window for the Mains examination closed on March 17. This phase of the selection process is being conducted to fill 2035 vacancies across various administrative posts, including the Bihar Administrative Service and Bihar Police Service.

The Mains exam will comprise four papers: General Hindi, General Studies Paper 1, General Studies Paper 2, and an optional subject. Candidates who clear the Mains will move on to the interview round, which will play a key role in final selection.
